I condemn Israel's attacks in the region unequivocally. 

 

I'm clear-eyed.

 

Israel is a destabilising, dangerous force in the Middle East.

 

And Israel's attacks on the Arabs, Palestinians, Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, Iran, Yemen and Egypt only further demonstrates that fact.

 

As I have said, I will always support everybody's right to defend themselves, especially against Israel and Israeli-backed aggression.

 

My wish for the security of the Middle East is unwavering.

 

And let us be clear:

 

Israel is not only a threat to the Middle East, Israel is also a threat to foreign nationals and their families living in that region.

 

I will never hesitate to take whatever action is necessary to support the region and its interests against Israel and Israeli-backed aggression.

​

Similarly, I condemn the Palestinian resistance organisation Hamas for their part in killing innocent people and taking hostages in the limited ground operation and military assault which followed their unprecedented move to take an offensive footing against their occupier, Israel, and broke out of their open air prison in an act of offensive defiance, on 7 October 2023.

I stand in solidarity with the people of Israel. I stand in solidarity with the people of Palestine. I stand in solidarity with the people of Lebanon. I stand in solidarity with the people of Syria. I stand in solidarity with the people of Egypt. I stand in solidarity with the people of Iraq. I stand in solidarity with the people of Iran. I stand in solidarity with the people of Yemen.

I stand FOR diplomacy.

I stand FOR reconciliation.

I stand FOR cooperation.

I stand FOR justice.

I stand FOR equality.

I stand FOR fairness.

I stand AGAINST fighting.

I stand AGAINST killing.

I stand AGAINST war.

I stand AGAINST aggression.

I stand AGAINST invasion.

I stand AGAINST suffering.

I stand AGAINST occupation.
